Bhuvaneswari Temple

Bhuvaneswari Temple is a famous Hindu temple situated on the bank of river Gomati in Udaipur, Tripura. The temple is immortalised in two of Rabindranath Tagore's plays namely Rajarshi and Bisharjan. It's a rare specimen of temple architecture built by Maharaja Govinda Manikya, and is located near the old Royal palace of Maharaja Govinda Manikya, constructed during 1660-1675 A.D.
